The Glossy Ibis is a medium-sized wading bird known for its striking iridescent plumage that shines with green, purple, and bronze colors in sunlight.Visitors can observe and study the flock of Glossy Ibises up close at Yadanabon Zoo.
A clever elephant called Yadanar Shwe had been captured near the trail of the elephant herd passing into the forest where it is located at the Za-Yat-Kwin village in Tha-Pate-Kyin township. Although since she was entered to Yadanabon Zoo at the age of calf, now she is at the age 22 years.
A rare and adorable mammal that spends most of its time in trees and mainly eats bamboo.They also eat fruits, berries, and small insects. In the wild, they can live for about 8 to 10 years, while in protected environments they can survive up to around 15 years.At the Yadanarpon Zoological Garden, one male red panda and three female red pandas are being cared for and kept under conservation and breeding programs.
